Job Entry Plan

First Day

Goal(s) - My First day on the job I will have three priority meetings:
1.    Meet with administrative team at central office
2.    Meet with all school principals
3.    Meet with all other central office personnel


Objective(s) – Establish a good working relationship with administrative team and communicate goals and expectations. It is important that I get to know all members of my administrative team.  My administrative team will include all members of administration in central office and all principals. I will have three meetings: central office administration, principals and central office personnel


Activities addressing goals and objectives
During my meetings I will establish a team atmosphere and communicate my goals and expectations for the year.  I will first meet with central office personnel to great them and communicate my expectations.  My second meeting will be with central office personnel followed by the third meeting which will include all principals of the district.  It is important that I establish a team atmosphere but yet communicate my expectations and goals for the year.

Resources needed to achieve goals and objectives
All the meetings will take place at a central location preferably central office.













First week

Goal(s) – Set up communication with the board of trustees.
                  Meet with each individual administrative department at central office
      Meet individually with each administrative. (Federal Programs, Special Ed.,   
          Technology, Business, Transportation, Maintenance, Curriculum, etc.)
      Meet with each principal individually.
                  Visit every campus in the district.   

Objective(s) - I will meet with board trustees as a group to discuss our goals and objectives for the upcoming school year.  Establishing a good working relationship and creating a team atmosphere is important in this meeting.  The main objective is to have them communicate their expectations for the upcoming school year.  I will setup individual meetings with different departments and principals to discuss goals, objectives and responsibilities.  I will visit every campus to great as many people as possible (teachers, students, staff and parents) and wish them a great school year.

I will set up individual meetings to discuss last year’s data and communicate our goals, objectives and responsibilities for the upcoming school year. It is important that I set up a line of communication between the superintendent and administration directors and principals.  Set up a good working relationship of trust and honesty.

First Month

Goal(s) - Monitor the productivity of all members of the administrative team.
                Setup a monitoring system for the learning, taught and tested and designate
                   roles and responsibilities of those administrators involved in curriculum.
               Setup bi-monthly meetings with members of the administrative team
               Prepare for the first board meeting.
               Attend school related activities.                                            
               
Objective(s)- It is important that I monitor the productivity of all members of the administrative team to ensure that we are all the page with the intensions of creating and establishing the best learning environment for all our students.  Establish bi-monthly and monthly meetings to monitor district operations and student learning. It is very important that I clarify the importance of student achievement by monitoring the learning, taught and tested of the curriculum.  My main focus is to take care of tax payer money and to ensure that all students are given the best learning opportunity as possible it is also important that I show my support to all school related activities as possible.

Monitor district data: Business, Curriculum, Special Programs
Continue to establish communication between the superintendent and member of the administrative team.  Serve as an advocate for all students by making sure they are provided with best curriculum and facilities needed to be successful.

First Year
Goal(s)
Continue with the establishment of a good working relationship with the board of    trustees and continue with our team atmosphere.
The communication between the superintendent and members of the administrative team is in place with everyone knowing their roles and responsibilities in providing our students with a safe learning environment, the best facilities and the best learning opportunities available.
Continue to seek improvement in the academic success of all students with the intensions of becoming a top performing school district. (Recognized or Exemplary Rating)

Objective(s)- My objective for the school year is provide our students with best learning opportunities possible.  It is my goal to assure this happens by establishing my communication with the board of trustees, members of the administrative team and all other stakeholders involved in the education of all our students.  It is our goal that all our students will succeed.
